A New State of Matter: Contemporary Glass

Two of Whitney Nye’s pieces are included in the exhibition A New State of Matter: Contemporary Glass at the Boise Art Museum, which explores glass as an adaptive material that does not fit squarely in any classification of a liquid, solid, or gas. The exhibition showcases the many different applications of glass as an artistic medium, with each artist utilizing its potential in a unique way. The show will travel to the Grand Rapids Art Museum in 2020.
