For the month of March, Russo Lee Gallery presents Recent Work by René Rickabaugh. For this body of work, Rickabaugh continues his exploration of flora and fauna with intricate detail. His mastery of materials is on full display, including a selection of mixed media works of gouache on epoxy resin, watercolor on paper and air-dry clay, and sculpture. Rickabaugh’s innovative use of space and texture draws viewers in to examine his highly meticulous creations.

René Rickabaugh received his BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon, where he also taught from 1984 to 1987. Rickabaugh has exhibited his work since 1972 in numerous shows, including exhibitions in Portland, Seattle and New York. He has had one-person exhibitions at the Portland Art Museum, the University of Oregon Art Museum in Eugene, and the Allan Stone Gallery in New York. His work is in numerous private and public collections.
