Press Release

For the month of January, Russo Lee Gallery exhibits Northwest Masters, including works by artists Louis Bunce, Sally Haley, Frederick Heidel, Manuel Izquierdo, Hilda Morris, and Michele Russo. Works by these artists have had a profound influence on Portland’s art scene, and helped build the foundation of art here in the Pacific Northwest. The subjects of this exhibition will range from still life to abstraction, and are comprised of mediums that include drawing, painting, and sculpture.

Works by these artists have been exhibited throughout the Pacific Northwest, nationally, and internationally including, the Seattle Art Museum, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Portland Art Museum, and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. Major public and private collections include the Hallie Ford Museum of Art at Willamette University, the Portland Art Museum, the Seattle and Tacoma Art Museums, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Guggenheim Museum.
