Russo Lee Gallery is pleased to exhibit Going Into the Forest by Kim Osgood for the month of May. As the show title implies, the artist presents various optimistic and soothing readings of flora and fauna. This exhibition features both monotypes and paintings on paper on panel. Kim Osgood studied at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, and the Rhode Island School of Design. Her work is part of numerous collections including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle, WA; Nordstrom Inc, in multiple states; Legacy Emanuel Hospital, Portland, OR; Meyer Memorial Trust, Portland, OR; MOMO International, New York; Oregon History Center, Portland; Portland Art Museum, OR; and the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art.
