Gabe Fernandez

Russo Lee Gallery is pleased to present Liminal Space by Gabe Fernandez. As the show title implies, the works in this exhibition focus on the empty and often surreal moments and spaces in our environment. Employing a tight and technical style that is infused with light and shadow, Fernandez’s representational and photorealistic paintings explore transitional spaces. The viewer is presented with a glimpse into our human condition and the liminal moments we experience.

Gabe Fernandez received his BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. He has exhibited his paintings widely throughout the Pacific Northwest and California since the 1990's, with exhibitions at galleries in Los Angeles and Palm Springs, CA, Roseburg and Portland, OR, and in Seattle, WA. His work is in numerous collections including Schoolhouse Electric in Portland, OR and New York, NY and the St. Andrew Nativity School in Portland, OR.
